Notifications During Inclement Weather

Bryant Public Schools may delay the start of school, close schools early, or cancel school due to inclement weather or other emergencies.

If schools open late or close for the day, we will post the cancellation on the district website and notify local television stations as soon as possible. We will also inform families through the mass notification system using phone calls, text and email and by posting updates at Facebook/Bryant Public Schools. Parents and district patrons are encouraged to download the free Bryant Public Schools app for the most current updates. Push notifications will be sent directly to app users. (Be sure to allow Notifications and select Bryant Public Schools.)

School officials carefully consider weather forecasts and test road conditions in the early mornings before making any decision to delay or cancel school. The safety of our students is always our first priority during inclement weather events.
