Together, we’re raising the bar: City Schools celebrates record school ratings

In data released by the Maryland State Department of Education, City Schools achieved its highest proportion of 3-, 4-, or 5- star schools on the 2026 Maryland School Report Card. More than half (53 percent) of the district's schools earned at least 3 stars for the first time since the Report Card's inception. Compared to a low of 25 percent in 2022, this marks continued post-pandemic recovery. The proportion of 3+-star schools more than doubled in just four years.
